Carter Hudson Inc., one of Manhattan's finest reconstruction and renovation
specialist, was founded in 2002 by artist Charles Harris.

Charles Harris is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He is able to
synthesize his knowledge of energy efficiency, healthy and sustainable building materials within an impeccable design aesthetic.

"My first project was my own home. I was unable to find a contractor/architect
that shared the artistic vision I had for my home, so I decided to take the
project on myself. As I began working, I relied on the fine-craftsman skills my
father taught me as a boy: welding, wood-working, fine carpentry and finishing.
I never felt more fortunate to have had a father that was an incredible
“handyman” and teacher. As his young student, I did not realize how valuable
these skills would become or how much I would enjoy mastering them as an adult.
